But it will be exciting. And this last year of study will be very exciting. It's more self driven than the past two years have been. We get to come up with our own projects and work on designs we want to work on, rather than fulfilling briefs written by tutors which haven't been changed in 5 years.
2009 feels like it's going to be a good year. An optimistic year. America just elected it's first african american president. That has to be an omen of change if anything is.
I've got a couple of new paintings on the go as well. I've recently switched to oils and this has slowed everything down. I have to wait 6 months for paintings do dry before I can varnish them and call them finished! It's the only drawback of oil paints though. Now that I have discovered water mixable oils I'm really happy with the way my painting is going.
Peace love and mungbeans.
Edit: Wow... at some point I apparently actually sold a print of 'Love': [link]
(Hmm dammit I can't work out how to link to images). I wonder when that happened. You would think I would get some sort of notification or something...
The only reason I found out is because I went to look at the price for subscribing, and I had deviant dollars I could pay with.
